Although I did not get them from TBD, I have used and am using radiators from SA. I have installed several in my family's fleet with good results. They are plastic/aluminum and look and fit like OEM. As for the original German waterboxer Vanagon ones, I think they came both in plastic/steel and plastic/aluminum versions and I have replaced both types of original with the SA ones. The only all metal ones I have seen were the early diesel radiators that don't fit 83 and newer.
