There is a big difference between telling the list your vanagon
has a timing belt and asking how often it needs changed,
instead of simply asking if it has a timing belt that needs maintenance.
As a side note: I make a ton of money on people like
this. They bring there cars to me and state that they need
something replaced. I replace it for them. Then, they
bitch at me because it did not fix the problem. I simply
remind them, that they ask me to replace a part, not to
diagnose a problem.
