Ok Eric, dont make me dig this up from the archives.
You specifically stated that you had in your hand a 3 (yes, THREE) wire ISV
for a Digifant. You stated it was factory and that you had a ton of them. I
repeatedly asked you for a part number or a pic. You never gave either one.
But yet you stick to your story (cause thats what it is).
Then you state that you think I am saying that a three wire ISV is the same
as a two wire ISV. Dude, you really need to take a chill pill and follow up
on your statements.
The only reason I asked this of you was to see if indeed you did have a 3
wire ISV and what possible use it would have been on a factory designed
Digifant injection system. It seems that you never had a 3 wire DIGIFANT ISV
but wouldnt proclaim that.
You can sit there and set me up by saying that noone should listen to
anything I have to say after you post. Thats rather arrogant isnt it? Then
you state that I am saying something that I most certainly would never say.
Did you plan it that way? If so, Kudos to you for the forethought to attempt
to set me up. OTOH, thumbsdown to you for being a poor communicator and
angry about something that you said you would solve.
BTW, still no pic or part number yet.
Yes, Digifant golf and jetta isvs work on vanagons. The 3 wire ISV is for
earlier model golf jetta scirocco with CIS-E. CIS Motronic ISVs might work
on a Vanagon, I dont know. They are two wire and completely differently
shaped.
If you would like Eric, I will get the posts where you specifically state
that you had a Digifant 3 wire ISV in your hand and you would be willing to
show me a pic or even a part number. Which you never did. Excuse me for
wondering about some sort of potential anomaly with respect to different
country oriented FI systems and wondering about how it could be to have a 3
wire ISV.
regards,
Chris DeLong
