As I posted, we are headed back from Michigan to Nova Scotia.  Well, 68 kms into the trip, just
south of Charlevoix MI, my dear wife, Pat, said,  The temp gauge is high!!!.   Yes it was,  then a
motorist passed us and honked and pointed.  I put the heater on and no heat.  So I pulled over and
as we alighted from the van, we were greated with steam, and that great odour of coolant and
hissing, and a mess all over the road.  Bummer dude!!!  A coolant hose had blown off the diversion
block.  A nice passing motorist stopped and offered assistance. Yes, we needed some water.  When
the van had cooled, I found that a clamp was VERY loose (on the hose at the diversion block).  I
fixed that, and we were off again - yes I bled the air out of the system.  We made it to Lansing
MI today without incident.  Hope all is well with you guys.  Malcolm & Pat
