< < Al, first off check the archives as there was a lot of discussion on this back in April ~ May. I had initially installed mine under the luggage rack as promoted by many List Members. NO GOOD ! When the luggage rack is full of "STUFF" you will lose the signal and get a "searching for signal" message quite often. I have since mounted the antenna on the RH front corner of the luggage rack between the corner and the mounting screw. I glued a steel plate to the back side of the luggage rack in that position and then used automotive logo mounting double sided tape to hold the antenna in place. Never loose the signal now even all the way up in Taschereau, Quebec where I was last week with the Quebec Club, _IWCCC_ (http://www.westfalia.qc.ca/) . BTW we had 81 buses up there. Check that place out on your map ! Had the Blues channel on most of the time and many visitors around the bus wanting to know where I was getting all the good tunes way up there in the bush ! I'm sure I sold more than a few subscriptions for Sirius. Where's my commission check ? (:-) < <
