I found the 3.5" Blauplunkts to be pretty efficient actually, once I put a head unit in strong enough to drive them. I don't have the butt-kickingest setup in the world though. I put in a Kenwood CD/Radio head unit and a Bazooka just behind the front passenger seat. Before I did that, though, I put some sound damping material in the passenger door (haven't gotten back to the driver's side yet). It made a world of difference in the noise level up front. Can't wait till I get it installed on the driver's side. I was also thinking of putting it on the metal behind the dash, but I didn't have the stuff the last time I had the dash out. Darn, another missed opportunity . . .
