I have a 1986 vanagon, 2 WD. I'd like to run some Prestone coolant flush thru it, as after 170k miles I bet it has some junk in it. 1. Is it ok to use the Chemical coolant flushes in the Vanagon? 2. I want to install the Flush and fill kit, the one that hooks up to a garden hose with a tee fitting (which will be needed to assure all the flush chemical is removed antifreeze) I was thinking of putting the hose connection in line with the rear heater core, under the floor. Is this a good location? anyone use another location? thanks dave |
