I don't have AC in my Westie, so no practical first-hand experience... but from what I've heard on the list, you need to change *lots* of stuff when you switch refirgerants. Check the archives, and get a second opinion from a different AC guy! You may want to surf/print out some websites on refrigerant changes for back up if you need to go back to the same guy to get it done properly...
