Hello, I Just got my 81 Vanagon back from the shop where I asked them to do a valve adjustment. They did and it runs fine but I found today that oil is dripping from somewhere over the right (if your looking at the back of the van) heat exchanger. Over night this added up to a spot the size of a pie plate. Is this likely the valve cover gasket? Or those push rod tubes that seem to go all the time? I'm going to take it back Monday of course, but want some leverage if them tell me it was nothing to do with the valve job. Any advice from the pros? Thanks, James in Yellowknife |
