You have indicated you have reached 1300 miles on this rebuild. Change the oil to 20W50, and install a new filter. If you still have problems, you have something wrong with your fits and clearances inside most likely. This would require a teardown and re-check with micrometer and dial indicator of those fits and clearances to see if they are in tolerance.
