You stop criticizing Volkswagen engineering frivolously and I'll stop trying to explain the reasoning behind why they do what they do.

And these ad hominem attacks are meant to distract people from the stupidity of your statements. Why don't you discuss the facts of your original claims:

"I stand in amazement that any engineer at any level, would put the fuel filter AFTER the pump"

Here's another classic:
