I've always found that kicking them out with rubber-soled shoes works great. Loosening the rubber seal first will help. Then just kick them flatfooted. Takes seconds to pop them out. I recoiled in horror the first time I saw this done. But it works just great. Due to varying conditions, this author will not be responsible for broken windows should you try his method. I have yet to break one this way. BTW, this is only for side windows. Windshields and rear windows are too fragile for this technique (or lack thereof).
