best idea i've seen was to put the map on a piece of lexan/plexiglas and then hang the map/lexan on the INside of the bus, over the left rearmost window. that way, you/others could see it, it didn't obscure vision, and wasn't exposed to the weather. trouble is, i don't know if our bus windows are big enough to handle the whole map (it covers all of canada, too) ... you might have to cut off some of the top of the map.
