They're baaaack....

As some of you may know, we've recently moved into fancy (yeah right) new digs in Rancho Cordova, CA. Surprisingly, it only took 6 weeks for the thieves to find us once again. This last weekend, someone decided to liberate all the side mirrors off every Vanagon that wasn't locked up behind the gate. I don't know what else is missing and probably never will.

Just once I'd like to catch one of these bastards in the act. I remember when I was but a wee lad, my Father was lucky enough to happen upon an unsuspecting radio thief that was busily removing a Blaupunkt from a Mercedes in my Father's repair shop parking lot. He kicked the door closed on the thief's legs and then chased him away with a tire iron. Of course that was in the days before ridiculous law suits.

Oh well, life goes here in mirrorless Sacramento.

Cheers,

Jeff www.vanagonparts.com
