When I used my camper for camping, I leveled/stabilized it with RV type jacks on the frame. This kept the van from bouncing around on the suspension and keeping the wife awake at night when my kids are tossing and turning up in the pop-top bed. You only need to lift the frame slightly to get the play out of the suspension. I only used them on the rear frame near the jackpoints. If you are on a excessively sloped campsite, use some plywood squares or 2x8's to level it under the wheels first. Good luck, Tim BA <ande@SAN.RR.COM> wrote: 1) What do folks use for leveling their vanagons? We looked at "leveling legos" at CamperWorld, but they seem a bit overpriced for what they are (especially compared to his coupla' bucks' worth of lumber). 2) Is it really so horrible to level the vanagon under one wheel only? Or am I being a fussbudget?
