Speaking of crimping pliers, locating the non-insulated variety that will do the roll over crimps takes a bit of searching. If you are looking for them consider: http://tooling.tycoelectronics.com/hand_tools.stm http://www.paladin-tools.com/ http://www.toolaid.com/new_toolaid/hotstuff.html There is also VW 000 097 003. Not the latest design (more like a pair of vice grips) but makes the proper crimps for all sizes of terminals. I used this one to redo my engine compartment wiring. http://homepage.mac.com/ratwell/.Pictures/Tools2/32-Crimper.jpg -- Richard, 1978 Westfalia CDN Larry sonofed@karmannghia.org www.ghiatwins.homestead.com O o\ /o O On Fri, 9 Jul 2004, Jonathan Farrugia wrote: > can some one remind me of the correct name for the style of crimp > terminals that is used by bosch on the fuel injection system? are they w > style crimps? if you have a good source for a crimping tool that would > be greatly appreciated also. > > jonathan > |
