I use rocks, and being in Utah those are often sandstone so they're nice 'n flat. I don't bother with the wheels that don't need leveling but usually park in such a way that I can uplevel one end of the van or the other. I've also parked so I need to level one side of the van, as on a hillside. One time that made it necessary to move a couple large boulders to use as a step to get into the van :) http://groups.msn.com/BobsPhotoShare/moabplusfamily903.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=537 hard to tell from that pic but that's the event. the step up was just over 20". One of the better campsites I've had :) both right wheels are "rocked". Bob Stevens '87 Westy Syncro http://groups.msn.com/BobsPhotoShare http://groups.yahoo.com/group/tiico |
