Subject: 83 westy radio wiring question to aux. battery
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

hi all, first time posting but have been learning a ton about our van.

1983 2.0 westy

i read a month or so back about rewiring the radio and interior lights to the aux. battery and cant seem to find it in the archives.

of note, the van already had a relay under the drivers seat which i understand is rare for this year/model.

i guess i can run a wire from the second battery directly to the fuse panel but thought (and am probably wrong as i think about it) there was a way to do some wiring just under the dash.

what is the best way to run one wire from the battery and split it to the radio, lights, cig lighter and such. i dont have my bently in front of me at work but seem to recall a few items run off each fuse in the panel.

if someone can direct me to the earlier post i think i read or send along other advice it is greatly welcomed. feel free to email off list and sorry for asking a question i know has been covered befoe.

thanks in advance, eric in r.i.
