I've noticed the same thing if I just make a general subject entry. Takes a
long time for the "search" to find all the entries for that topic back to
'94. However, if I make the subject very specific and put date parameters on
it, the response is much faster. In the end, if I've made several
shorter-term searches vs the single general search, time comes out about 6's
