Yah, tell me about it. I went through the same thing today. I couldn't get the old sensor out. I just welded another sensor boss on and left the old one in place. It only takes ten minutes to weld a new fitting in, so it wasn't worth it to spend much time trying to get the old one out. A TIG welder is a handy thing to have....
