I've used this product, all kinds of oxidized (?) rubber comes off the first
few applications (I would think this would be the same with any other
product). After applying it to the exterior rubber (on a cool and cloudy day)
I wait a few hours to allow for absorption and then wash the Westy to clean
all of the rubber gunk off the paint using mild soap.

I also used it on the fibreglass top and interior vinyl.

These surfaces do look better after application but not as shiny as other

products.

The company's literature states that the airline industry uses this product.
It's supposed to work mainly through UV protection.

This might sound silly but I think this stuff MIGHT work better than other
protectants in that the rubber/fibreglass/vinyl does not look nearly as shiny
and glossy as after using other formulations such as ArmorAll. In other words,
it might be designed more for actual protection than glossy looks.
