Squeaking brake pads will stop making noise with many changes as slight as the flexing of the front wheels as you turn a bend. Appling the brakes, turning a bend, stopping, starting, etc. all cause different pressure on the support of the brake pads. Ever so slight, or great, any change can cause or stop the noise. It all depends of the design. Eric
