eric,
i've owned two of these. my buddy has two of them as well. most were
white though i have seen two silver ones. coincidentally, the crappy
wool like upholstery is a match to the ones found in tristars.
to my knowledged the VW dealer in albany, california (near berkeley)
sold 11 of these models in 1990.
