My '82 westy sink pump doesn't work, or at least doesn't pump. It runs, but very little comes out. I pulled it up, it's an Atwood 6126. Seems to spin fine, but even putting the intake into a glass of water, nothing comes out. Haven't tried yet setting up some sort of priming, since the impellers look okay, maybe that's it. I'm not sure this is the stock pump, and, in fact, the wiring to it looks definitely non factory. Resorting to looking in Bently, I see that there is apparantly supposed to be a pump in the tank itself, and it looks like there are two pumps then -- is this correct? I have no pump in my tank, no wires going to it, although there is the grommet in the top for the wires as per the manual picture. Hmmm. I thought that was an air vent previously. So why would they have two pumps, if that indeed was the case? Is there a good self-priming RV pump that would work?
