Reducing the air pressure on warm tires results in under-inflated cold tires. The tires are designed and rated for this. As the pressure in increasing in all the tires, this is not an issue for the VC. In addition, by the time a change in air pressure changes the dynamic rolling circumference of a tire; it will quickly heat up and destroy itself as the sidewall has to flex to take up this difference. This is the cause of most blow-outs.
