After much deliberation between the after market seal vs the OEM, I decided I want the OEM one. The trade off is the significant cost premium and rust problem, and a proper seal and the factory look. My local VW dealer priced the pop top and the luguage rack (decorative) seals total about $850 list price. They will not give a discount.

Does anyone know of a dealer that will sell at a discount and will ship out of state?

89 Westy
