I've had Woolfolks, a VW shop, work on my VW Fox and I've seen Vanagons in their shop. I've never had them work on my Vanagon, but they did OK work on the Fox. They're at 6911 Santa Monics Blvd. (323) 465-0130

There's also Bela's in Burbank where I've seen a lot of Vanagons, but I've never had one worked on by them. I talked to a woman in Burbank once who was driving a Vanagon. I asked her if she had a good mechanic. She recommended Bela's, then I found out in the conversation Bela was her husband. Anyway Bela is at 2525 n. San Fernando Blvd, Burbank, CA 818-842-9464

Whatever you do stay away from Fast German Auto in Santa Ana.
