Subject: Vanagon - "Introductory Service Information"
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hi Volks,

I ran across an ebay auction a week or so ago for a "Water Cooled Vanagon Introductory Service Information" manual from 1983. I won the auction not knowing what it really was and just received it today. It is a 44 page book that VW sent out for "corporate service training". It has a wealth of information, from HP/torque curves to diagrams of the engine, cooling system, fuel injection, exhaust, etc. along with specs. It pertains to the 1.9L digi-Jet. I have been looking for info like this ever since I purchased my van almost a year ago. I would love to share this with the list but I am not sure how. I have access to a scanner and I could e-mail the pages to someone to post on the net somewhere (I don't have my own web page), or I could make a copy and send it out to people who want it (send me a Self addressed stamped envelope?). What do you guys think? (Are there any copyright issues that I should be aware of?)

Thanks, Dan Wohlers Iowa City, Iowa
