I use the FM transmitter at home and in the car that CCrane and Co. sells on their website (also available through the NPR Shop). I like this device so much that I own three of them now--one for my upstairs computer, one for the basement computer, and one for the office--made by Sangean:

I can't say enough good things about this little piece of equipment. I do most of my radio listening over the internet and this allows me to broadcast up to 150 feet away reliably. I can listen to Randi Rhodes and Al Franken streaming on the internet while mowing the lawn. It works very well in the car although it could be a problem in densely populated urban areas where there's not much blank space on the FM band. The PLL transmitter broadcasts in increments from 88.3 to 107.9.
