does the digifant waterboxer use a 3 wire sensor? i know the digifant golf uses a 4 wire sensor. for my engine conversion i used a 4 wire bosch sensor for a ford mustang v8 approximate year 1988 or 1990 (older body style GT). i don't have the part number for that one off hand but here is some other data for you. i would suggest upgrading to the 4 wire if you have the 3 wire. 4 wire is one sensor lead, one sensor ground, and two heater leads. the three wire is the same but missing the independent ground. it just uses the exhaust as its ground :(.

Bosch 4-wire / P.N. 15708 (Ford Probe) Bosch 4-wire / P.N. 13275 (Generic) Bosch 3-wire / P.N. 15709
