The Bentley says the AFM resistance strip should vary between 40 and 500 ohms while moving the air sensor plate. My '81 Westfalia (gas/California emissions), that died 10 blocks after I bought it, is steadily outputing 50 to 670 ohms. I was also getting momentary readings in the 800's on my digital multimeter. Is it safe to say that the resistance strip is burnt? If you thought that was a stupid question check this one out. Should this van have a full throtle switch? It doesn't and it concerns me. How many wires should attach to the cold start valve? Right now there are three brown wires hacked in to the valve. Any advice would be awesome. -john _________________________________________________________________ Discover the best of the best at MSN Luxury Living. http://lexus.msn.com/ |
