if your looking for an inexpensive option go to the local appliance store
and scavenge for heavy walled boxes and pieces of packing foam there.  i
generally read the crush data on the bottom when reusing boxes.  or if you
want to go with a trucking service you can build a custom crate from scrap
pallets.
