A nickles worth of opinion (inflation:-) I grew up in a sports car resto shop specializing in Austin Healey and early E type Jaguars. My dad has made all of his own hardlines for as long as I can recall (I'm 42). The only problem he has ever had was to do with the flare tools not being of good quality. It isn't rocket science (although Matthew about quailifies as a rocket scientist ;-) Make sure you use the correct flare tool, use quality brake tubing and use the carpenters rule "measure thrice, cut once" Jeez Matt... ya toss TIICO's in like they are nothin' and you are cowed by a brake line, what are we gonna do with ya! (irreverent smirk ;-) Brian PS I have more droll abuse for you, just p-mail me! |
