The first Gold Wing engine ( 4 cyl ) was originaly intended for automotive use, they developed it for the first generation Honda Civic but it ended up in the bike instead ...... I find it really amusing that the bike and engine has grown to be so bulky today that the engine´s discussed as an option in a Van :-) Calle BTW Triumph Rocket 3- Powercruiser 0-60 mph 2.8 sec. 3 cyl 2294 cc, 140 hp/5750rpm, 200Nm/2500rpm :-) :-) :-)
