Hi I need some easy tips on how to loosen stuck brakedrum. Just BANG it REALLY hard with BIG MALLET? Or is there other way? My rear brakeshoes are hanging a bit, not enough to make it impossible to turn rearwheel by hand, but enough to make brakedrum to hot to hold finger onto more than 2 seconds, and it smells burnt. So I need to pull it, clean brakes, do what has to be done, and reassembly. But I am facing a brakedrum with nowhere to attach puller.......... And it is firmly stuck. Looks like rust keeping it in place at the axle nut. What to do? You can save me a trip ($$$$$$$$$$$$$) to garage here..... Happy driving Jens Jakob |
