If I remember correctly, the specific Vanagon diesel parts are: 1) Oil pan (for clearance purposes) 2) Injection pump (See Gnarlies' email) (But, if you raise the deck lid, no mods are required) 3) Air filter assembly 4) Oil pump pickup tube (because of #1) 5) Oil cooler assembly 6) Possibly motor mounts 7) Bell housing (although the one you have might be ok) 8) Transmission (IMPORTANT for a 1.6!!!) 9) Oil fill tube and dip stick. And other things I am forgetting. The difference are not a big deal, but something to be aware of.
