Hi Folks, I asked Bus Depot about this, but sales was not sure, too late for tech assist. I am replacing the CV boots on all the axles of my '87 Syncro. The replacement inner front boot/hardware kits arrived with proper longer bolts, but the replacement boots came without the attached metal bolting flange on the big end. Looks like I would need to cut the old boot off the old flange, spread open the old crimp and crimp the new boot in. Anyone else done this? The rear boots come with the flanges attached and coincidentally seem to fit the front joints as well. Last time I did this on my old Syncro, I replaced the whole joint so the boot assembly was not an issue. Thanks, Dave Milo |
