Surfing around the I-net last night I came across several sites with info about the SVX performance and reliability. The motor has a 250K expected lifespan with usual maint. by its history. The tranny has a 70K lifespan due to heat problems and folks started adding a cooler to extend that. As far as weight of the SVX goes, chat with Pensioner (Al Knoll) who has posted here regarding the handling of the rear end of his Syncro and subsequent needing to stiffen the suspension by springs, shocks and tires to deal with oversteer. Probably not a bad compromise considering that 230 HP. bob
