The first Gold Wing engine ( 4 cyl ) was originaly intended for automotive use, they developed it for the first generation Honda Civic but it ended up in the bike instead ...... I find it really amusing that the bike and engine has grown to be so bulky today that the engine´s discussed as an option in a Van :-)
