While I've never driven a subee powered Vanagon, I've seen a couple of well
done installations.  The subee motor looks like it was "meant to be in a
Vanagon".

People who drive them seem to love them.

The subee motor actually looks neater in the engine bay of a Vanagon than
the waterboxer, especially without all those crazy cooling hoses and pipes
the waterboxer uses.

Please note - During the past 17 years of operation, several gigabytes of Vanagon mail messages have been archived. Searching the entire collection will take up to five minutes to complete. Please be patient!
