Goodyear Wrangler F1 -- Spec'd for Ford SVT truck

Kuhmo ECSTA ASX -- the 225/45-17 I have are
reinforced sidewalls.

Just about any tire that is spec'd for an SUV with a
vehicle weight of 2.5 tons will work.

I also support what Andrew said, how many people run
max load in their vanagons?  If you do, pick another
tire.  If like me you camp light and don't grind up a
goat path over logs etc. to get to your destination,
then why not drive on something that will bring out
the potential of this chassis?

I just looked at a WRX sedan, the weight is a tad over
4000lbs.  My Westy weekender weighs in at 3900lbs with
a half tank O’ full and my Akita in it on the local
truck scale.

Those German tuners are onto something with their
suspension work, these vans handle very well with a
bit of minor massaging!
