Maybe you got a peacock caught up in your steering box? We went there a few years back and tried to eat a picnic lunch outside. That was a mistake. The peacocks were everywhere and they're more persistant than ducks at the local pond. But still, I highly recommend anyone heading through the Columbia gorge to stop in there. Its a very interesting museum. And a couple miles down the road is a full scale replica of Stonehenge constructed out of cement to honor the WWI soldiers from that area.

Good luck finding your problem.
