It looks to me that the engines that hang low in those pictures were set lower to keep them below the factory engine lid. Marco's personal van has a 8-10 inch raised deck in the back of his van, so my guess is he mated it higher (or stock location) for more clearance. He says on the spec page that there is 8.5" of ground clearance and the oil pan is protected by a 1/4" thick plate; 8.5" is better than most cars, and some trucks.

Now, how much for one of these conversions??? When will people learn to advertise with average prices at least?
