This is my 1st post to this list.

I am helping my dad find the exhaust parts that he needs for his '84 (1.9L
gas).  I believe that he needs a catalytic convertor, muffler, tailpipe,
gaskets, muffler hanger strap, etc.

He had ordered a complete set from Advance, but the muffler was too long (he
says, I did not see it).

My ride is a '72 T2 deluxe, so I know where to get parts for it, I suspect
that the list of reputable vendors for vanagons is the same as for loafs.  I
wonder what the collective wisdom of this list is regarding exhaust parts
suppliers.
