I just did this. Get inside the van, down on the floor with a small curved device like a dental pick. Anything like that will do, but it needs to be small and should be hooked, though I guess a jeweler's screwdriver would work.

Looking up from below the bottom edge of the screen, you'll see two flat areas 1/2 inch long or so that engage the aluminum lip of the window. Hook these gently and pull them down to disengage the lip while pulling out. It will come right out. There are no other tabs to mess with.

They're more resilient than would think, but be careful with the tabs just because they are small and fairly weak.
