Over the winter I will be doing some upgrading to our Syncro Westfalia Hightop. One of the things I want to add is 134a air conditioning. I have seen posts about getting the under dash Bahr system that was dealer installed on 84/85 Vanagons, but, I do not want to install an under dash system due to it's complexity. I would be very happy with a system that blows cold air from under the rear seat and can be installed in that location. As long as I can use the 134a compressor that is found on a modern day TDI engine I will be literally a cool and happy camper!
