Subject: air conditioner thank you!!!

I worked on the A/C tonight, 3 hours work including the 1 hour stay at Home Depot, trying to find stuff. The leaking problem was (maybe) a broken 90 degree on the passenger side drain hose. I got the soft water 3/8" pond/landscape hose from the lawn center. and ran new hose on both sides of the van. I ran the hose through, the body ,drilled holes to run the hoses straight to the ground , to keep water from buliding up in the body. I heated the ends and slightly crimped them, so the water will not be disturbed, by air flow. The worse part was dropping the unit halfway,on the passenger side to do this .

I got a dremel tool and opened up the supply/blower vents to have more direct air flow. With air condtioning foil tape. I taped all the open areas of the evap. section. I also closed the two small vent on the side of air vents .On the back side of the air intake. I tape a section of air filter medium/material to help keep the evaporator clean.

Then I installed a fan near near the driver's head to blow more to the cab. Which can be turned around to blow on sleeping campers. The fan plugs into the aux. battery.

I cannot thank everyone, who sent me intel on how to repair this turd of a design....Once again thank you....
