Subject:      Speedometer quit working...easy fix or new cable???

Hello all:

I had two front tires put on my 90 Carat this morning
and after leaving the shop noticed my speedometer
wasn't working. I examined the spot where the cable
sticks out of the hub...looks like a nub there with
nothing attached.

Will I need a new cable or does anyone know if there
is a quicker fix? Could this have happened when they
changed the tire...or is it just coincidental?
