Keith, I did this on my 87 in Feb. It takes 2 to 3 hours if you buy the kit from Ken at Vanagain. Drop the tank and replace all the grommets and fuel line and add clamps to all the lines. When your done no leaks and you might get 1 mpg better mileage! Good Luck Kevin

I don't really want to be a Roman Candle; so I never top up my gas tank. I am thinking there is a leaky vent line. How hard is it to troubleshoot and repair? Keith '88 westy
