The liner-stuffing-heat-&-soundproofing material on the lower surface of the (steel) engine cover on our '81 aircooled westie needs replacing -- what material should I get and where? It seems to be held in by a few wire struts - is anything more needed?

Also, the gas on/off knob from the fridge (the rightmost knob) has disintegrated ... any ideas where to get a replacement?

thanks! Alan
